At Tail Chasers Tasty Treats, our mission is to create gourmet, small-batch treats that combine purposeful ingredients with irresistible flavor. With decades of experience in veterinary medicine, supplements, and nutrition, we’ve seen firsthand how what our pets eat directly impacts their health, happiness, and longevity. That’s why every recipe is crafted with care — using wholesome ingredients chosen not just for taste, but for their benefits.

We believe pets deserve treats that nourish as much as they delight, and that pet parents should feel confident about what they’re giving their fur babies. Our commitment is simple: safe, flavorful, and thoughtfully made treats that celebrate the special bond between pets and the people who love them.

I graduated from the Nebraska College of Technical Agriculture in 2002 and went on to pass the national board exam to become a Registered Veterinary Technician. Over the past 23 years, I’ve had the privilege of working with countless pets and their families. From the joyful moments to the difficult ones, I’ve truly seen it all — the good, the bad, and the ugly that comes with caring for animals. In 2017, I was honored to be named Nebraska’s Outstanding Veterinary Technician of the Year, a recognition that reflected my dedication to the profession I love.

One thing became clear very early on: good nutrition makes all the difference in a pet’s health, happiness, and longevity. That belief grew stronger throughout my career, and it’s what inspired me and my partner to create Tail Chasers Tasty Treats.

Our gourmet treats are handcrafted in small batches with care and intention, made from ingredients we feel proud to stand behind. For me, every treat is a way to share the knowledge and passion I’ve gained through veterinary medicine. Together, we’ve built Tail Chasers to reflect our shared commitment to health, flavor, and the unconditional love we all have for our pets

Darci Golden, Co-Founder

For over 20 years, I worked in the human supplement and health food industry, including 12 years managing a health food store in Nebraska. That experience taught me the importance of choosing ingredients with purpose — ones that support health and longevity. As a foodie, I’ve always loved exploring flavor combinations, and now I bring that same creativity into developing gourmet pet treats that are both delicious and beneficial.

My own pets have been some of my greatest teachers. Several required a higher level of at-home care, and others struggled with food allergies and intolerances. Those challenges prompted me to create custom treats crafted with safe, carefully selected ingredients. What began as a personal solution grew into a bigger mission when Amanda and I co-founded Tail Chasers Tasty Treats.

Every recipe we create reflects a balance of nutrition and flavor — crafted to give pets something they’ll love while helping their families feel confident about what they’re feeding. For me, it’s about combining knowledge, passion, and care into every single treat we share.
